Tom Holland and Zendaya made a rare public appearance on Thursday, when the 28-year-old actress showed up to support her boyfriend. In photos before and after the event in New York, the Spiderman star was seen following his girlfriend closely, heroically protecting her as the two were surrounded by paparazzi.

What caught attention was that moments after the incident, the two tried to quickly approach the parked car. The British star walked close, holding his girlfriend’s hand and at one point placing a hand on her back as if to protect her. He told the people around him, “Everyone, be careful.”
