A long-standing Hollywood rumor resurfaced amidst P Diddy’s latest legal troubles.

While on the set of Jimmy Kimmel’s chat show in 2023, the host nudged Sean “Diddy” Combs to discuss rumors about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith attempting to involve Sean’s then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez in a threesome.

Kimmel asked: “When you were dating J.Lo, Will Smith and Jada tried to pick her up on a threesome and you were gonna beat up Will Smith, is that true? ” Diddy responded with a hint of disbelief: “You really heard that? Nah..” Kimmel then admitted he’d seen it online and joked: “You’re telling me I can’t believe everything I read? ” Combs played along, jokingly responding: “Whaaat? I don’t know what you’re talking about,” while widening his eyes and spreading his hands.

In the YouTube video’s comment section, fans rushed to decipher Diddy’s reaction. A user commented: “The RAGE in his eyes,” punctuating with an angry emoji, whereas another suggested: “Weird things going on in Hollywood. I wonder why?”

One fan humorously mentioned that Kimmel “has no fear,” and a viewer hypothesized: “They usually practice these questions ahead of time. I think Jimmy asked something that was never practiced, someone definitely made him ask that. That’s wayyy different than his normal questions and Diddy was mad. Can tell Diddy was real surprised.”

Diddy and Lopez had an on-again, off-again relationship from 1999 to 2001. In a 2003 interview with Vibe magazine, J.Lo opened up about their tumultuous relationship, stating: “I was in this relationship with Puff where I was totally crying, crazy and going nuts, it really took my whole life in a tailspin.”

In the wake of recent controversy surrounding P. Diddy, his children Christian, Jessie, D’Lila and Quincy collectively issued a statement on Instagram in defense of their mother Kim Porter. They felt compelled to address the situation after “seeing many hurtful and false rumours” circulating about their parents.

They refuted “untrue” allegations that their mother had written a book and clarified that their “lives were shattered when they lost their mother”. The cause of Kim’s death has “long been established” with “no foul play involved”.
