Kobold’s family broke his heart when they moved out and left him behind. He was just a puppy who needed infinite love, but instead, he endured loneliness and abandonment.
After experiencing betrayal from his family, Kobold stopped trusting humans and believing that he would ever attain happiness.
The faithful pup crouched in the corner of an abandoned house that used to be his home. His eyes were tearful and filled with fear.
Kobold didn’t imagine that his life would surprise him with a new beginning.
Rescuers Find The Puppy
When rescuers found Kobold and saw him for the first time, their hearts shattered.
The puppy sat huddled in the corner of the house with his head bent and a defeated expression on his face.
After he noticed the rescue team entering the house, the pooch became defensive and started barking at them.
The good people tried to talk to him and gain his trust. They left him delicious treats and the hungry puppy ate them in a hurry. He was starving.
Two hours later, the rescuers finally managed to lure him into a crate.
They brought him home and tried to console him. In order to give him time to decompress, they prepared him a bed in the bathroom.
The puppy wasn’t alone. An Angora kitten living in a bunny cage in the bathroom attracted his attention.
The good humans sat with the canine and talked to him in a loving tone.
Kobold was terrified. The puppy hid behind the sink and didn’t let them stroke him.
Kobold had the kind of paw deformity that is often found in malnourished puppies. He needed to eat as an adult dog for at least a month.
His rescuers were sure that this treatment would help Kobold’s paws straighten completely.
Trying To Win His Heart
Although the giant-hearted humans didn’t know what happened to the pooch in the past, they assumed that he had experienced trauma.
They were determined to help him overcome his overwhelming fear and become the puppy that he was always meant to be.
Kobold’s caregivers noticed that he spent a lot of time looking at the kitten. He was intrigued by her.
They took out the kitten and introduced it to the pup. Kobold was smitten with the kitten. He started wagging his tail and cuddling with the kitten.
Kobold loved the kitten. It made him forget about his sorrow.
However, the puppy was still afraid of humans. When his rescuers entered the bathroom, he ran and hid in the corner. Whenever they caressed him, he would freeze.
Kobold Transforms Into A Confident Pup
The pup’s saviors spent a lot of time with him. They talked to him and hand-fed him.
Little by little, Kobold’s fear started disappearing. His eyes looked brighter.
The pup felt more comfortable in his rescuers’ home. He was curious and began exploring his surroundings.
As Kobold spent more time with the kitten, their bond became stronger. They enjoyed playing and snuggling.
The doggo’s rescuers continued caring for him. They showed him kindness and showered him with love.
Gradually, Kobold started realizing that they were good humans who wished to help him.
The pooch began letting his rescuers stroke him. He absorbed their affection and his heart started healing.
Ten days after he was rescued, Kobold’s fear of humans completely disappeared. He flourished into a playful and happy pup.
The puppy’s eyes radiated happiness. He couldn’t stop wagging his tail.
The love that the puppy received from his saviors and the kitten healed his broken heart.
