A lucky boxing fan bagged a brand-new Mercedes S-Class 450 at the heavyweight showdown between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday.

The Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia was expected to host around 40,000 spectators for Fury’s second face-off of the year with undefeated Ukrainian Usyk, while millions worldwide tuned in via their chosen pay-per-view provider.

The pair first clashed at the same venue back in May, where Usyk dealt Fury his first professional boxing defeat through a split-decision after 12 gruelling rounds. Thanks to this victory, Usyk became the first undisputed champion of the heavyweight division since Lennox Lewis in 1999, adding the WBC belt to his WBA (Super), WBO, IBF and IBO belts.

Fury will be seeking retribution against the 37 year old on Saturday as they go head-to-head once more before a full house. While the Kingdom Arena audience is set to witness a blockbuster fight when the two heavyweight titans meet again, one spectator received a prize during the event’s undercard.

After Serhii Bohachuk’s sixth-round stoppage over Ishmael Davis three from the top of the card, there was a brief pause in the action as Saudi Arabian Advisor Turki Alalshikh took to the arena’s stage.

In a moment of high drama at the Kingdom Arena, an audience member won a luxurious Mercedes S-Class 450 after a random selection process involving a big red button. The crowd held their breath as the announcer guided the suspense, and cameras captured the electric atmosphere.

The lucky winner, seated in block S21, row 18, seat 45, was overjoyed, throwing his hands up in celebration. “Congratulations – come on down and collect the keys to your brand-new, stunning Mercedes S-Class 450,” the announcer declared, prompting the man to dash towards the stage with a beaming smile.

He exchanged handshakes and posed for photos with the advisor, both grinning widely amidst the arena’s applause. When offered the chance to speak, the elated winner simply expressed, “I’m so happy guys.”

This thrilling giveaway was followed by the co-main event where Moses Itauma quickly defeated Demsey McKean, setting the stage for Fury and Usyk’s anticipated ring walks at approximately 6:00pm ET.
