The WNBA and the Swiftie fanbases collided after WNBA Rookie of the Year and generational talent Caitlin Clark attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop at Lucas Oil Stadium. Clark shared her joy on social media, posting photos from her seat with the stage in full view, captioned simply, “I’m fired up.”
Clark quickly became an Indiana icon after completing her first season with the Fever. But while attending the show, she blended in with Swifties surrounded by the sold-out stadium of fans who all have the same admiration for the pop star.
Photos of the Fever rookie surfaced online in a plain white tee and jeans. She was in a VIP suite with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery. Fans with Clark in their camera view also caught her exchanging friendship bracelets with Swifties in the crowd, which is a common tradition among Swift fans during shows.

Clark dominated basketball headlines with her historic season, resulting in record-breaking stats, attendance, and viewership records. Outside of music, Clark and Swift share a common interest in rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs.
After Swift’s attendance was confirmed in support of her boyfriend Travis Kelce during a game last season, Clark tweeted, “Taylor Swift, welcome to the good side,” sharing her excitement that her favorite artist repped her favored team. Even a year before Clark’s Eras Tour appearance, fans hoped for an eventual linkup between the two celebrities, going as far as hoping Swift would add Clark in her lyrics to a future song.
“I think that Taylor will write some new songs about this experience someday,” predicted a fan. Another hopeful fan of Clark’s suggested that the basketball star should appear on Travis Kelce’s New Heights Podcast to complete the superstar crossover fully.
