Veteran broadcasters and terrestrial TV sports network formats are “boring as f—” and do not appeal to younger NFL fans because “that s— is dead”.
Superstar hosts like Michael Strahan and Terry Bradshaw may be the big attractions now, but their appeal is withering. And they are out of touch with fans’ real desires and even controlled by bosses over what subjects they can discuss on air.
Those are the fighting words from NFL icon and broadcaster Adam Pacman Jones, who has come out firing about his rivals. Pacman is not holding back in an exclusive interview, delivering his damning verdict of the NFL broadcast landscape as he celebrates having his own show through BetOnline.

Pacman insists his show is “politely raw”, which is why it will become one of the biggest sports shows in the U.S. The Bengals legend, 41, also predicts that Tom Brady will NOT see out his 10-year Fox contract worth $375M.
Taking a dig at cable and network TV’s coverage, Pacman fired off at Mirror US Sports: “That s— is dead bro! It used to be you had to do everything the way they had to do it, but now that era is over. People want to feel interactive – they want to be in the game. You can pick the phone and control the narrative.”
Pacman says he has no personal gripe with the likes of Strahan and Bradshaw, but notes: “I don’t feel sorry for them because that is their lane. They grew up in what is their politically correct way. We grew up in our lane doing it politely raw.“
He says that the slow pace of the NFL standard shows is boring for him.
Terry Bradshaw has come under fire
“I don’t want to hear that s— no more. I want to know why the f—— game was bad. I want to know why James Jones went from a third-round pick s— college star and now he is a player. And I can say whatever I want.
“Some of them you cannot cuss and some have things you cannot even talk about stuff. I am very pleased in the next couple of years we will be one of the biggest shows..if not the biggest.”
He doesn’t care about upsetting NFL bosses, players or other shows.
“I keep using that phrase politely raw, but we are politely raw and real. When I’m talking and, I’m speaking facts. I’m not talking about the person. I’m talking about what’s going on..”
Pacman came out swinging to promote his new BetOnline YouTube show insisting that he is the freshest thing to hit broadcasting in decades.
“I could tell you the difference from the old media and the new media – it is swag. New media has got swag, old media stand saying numbers and talk s— going up there in the suit looking like plain Janes, no jewelry, no nothing. In this era, you got these kids that can’t relate to that s—.
“The new generation want something they can relate to. I can’t relate to watching them and I’m just saying, I won’t throw nobody (under the bus) out there, but a lot of these guys are boring as f—.”
He feels Brady, who he likes, is not seen as a significant force in sports commentary despite his once-in-a-lifetime contract.
“I am happy for Brady first and foremost. But Brady is not the best commentator period. We all know that s—. You just go back and look at the games he has commentated on. I don’t know if it is because he cannot go to the meetings or this or that.
“But me personally I think he not going to do this game thing for more than a year or two. We all know has an ownership deal with the Raiders. Is he entertainment? No, not to me. I do like the Manning Brothers. They are funny.”
Pacman sees his BetOnline YouTube show growing fast and interrupting network TV’s audience numbers.

“They can keep their audiences, My audience is different to Manning and Brady’s. I smoke weed everywhere I go. They wear suits every game, I don’t.
“The whole conversation, my attitude that nothing is off limits. My life has been a glass house. They know I am true. I work hard, there is not a racist bone in my body, but I am not to be f—– with.
“I’m asking questions that you at home want to hear – questions that people are scared to ask.”
Pacman is delighted with the “unbelievably” supportive executives at BetOnline allowing him creative freedom. However, he warned fans that it a “bad idea” to disagree with his views.
“I don’t give a f—. So if you say something to me on this f—— tool that I got in my hand, you’ll get a response. We’re in a day, age, and time right now where everybody is getting a response.”
