Ahead of the President’s Cup later this month, the lineup for the United States team has been finalized.

World No. 1 and FedEx Cup champion Scottie Scheffler headlines a group that includes Xander Schaffele, Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley and more:

The international team was also announced on Tuesday, with Adam Scott, Jason Day and Hideki Matsuyama leading the way:

Scheffler, Schauffele and Morikawa were joined by Wyndham Clark, Patrick Cantlay and Sahith Theegala as the automatic qualifiers for the U.S. team. Bradley was one of Jim Furyk’s six captain’s picks along with Sam Burns, Russell Henley, Brian Harman, Max Homa and Tony Finau.

Furyk admitted that there were notable names left off the roster, particularly Justin Thomas, who has a 10-3-2 record in the past three Presidents Cups.

“I think when you look at it, there’s about 16 or 18 guys that I’d love to have on this team,” Furyk said, per ESPN’s Mark Schlabach. “At the end of the day, I love JT. I probably know him as well or better than any members of my team. Again, great record and feisty and [an] emotional leader. Just kind of trying to put the puzzle pieces together and find the right 12 to take to Montreal. Tough, tough. He’s a great team room guy, and he’s going to play on a ton of these teams in the future as well, and one day he’s going to be a captain, and a great one.”

Other notables left off the United States include Billy Horschel, Akshay Bhatia and Chris Kirk.

The 2024 Presidents Cup will be held on Sept. 26-29 at Royal Montreal Golf Club in Canada. The United States has won each of the last nine meetings against the international team in the bi-annual competition.
