On the other hand, life is full of things that are incomprehensible to people. For those who know how to appreciate it, this is what makes life so fascinating. This time, we’ll all be amazed to see a lion shaking hands with his canine friend!
The heartwarming video of the lion shaking and kissing the dog’s hand has moved millions of people. Since being posted to YouTube in January 2018, it has accumulated more than 70 million views and 1.2 million likes. In the space of 23 seconds Miki, the wʜɪᴛe lion, moved ᴄʟᴏsᴇr to Camila, the wagging-tail dog. The dog’s right paw was then gently taken up and kissed by the lion. Maybe he was appealing for forgiveness to his best friend!
The Black Jaguar-Wʜɪᴛe Tiger Foundation (BJWT), a nonprofit committed to the conservation of big cats and other animals in Mᴇxɪᴄᴏ, looked after both Miki and Camila.
Miki was fostered as a typical pet at the apartment with Camila after being saved in 2016. As they had been together since they were infants, Miki and Camila had a special bond. The workers at the shelter said that they have been together their entire lives, long before they rescued them, and if they aren’t together, they feel extremely afraid.
Although relationships between captive-bred animals are common, the exceptional affinity formed by two different species is just stunning.
