Miss Universe Egypt Logina Salah attracted attention at the Miss Universe 2024 contest in Mexico as a mother in her 40s and suffering from vitiligo.
Logina Salah was crowned Miss Universe Egypt on October 5 and will represent the country at Miss Universe 2024.
The 34-year-old beauty is proud to be the first woman with a skin disease to win a prestigious beauty pageant. Logina arrived in Mexico on October 29, confidently shining among international beauties with her own beauty and enthusiastically talking about inspirational stories about her journey to overcome adversity.

The beauty said she was bullied as a child because of her rare condition vitiligo. However, this did not stop her from becoming a strong, confident woman and conquering her dreams. Logina Salah is currently a beauty expert, model, activist and social media influencer. She has 1.8 million followers on Instagram and 1.2 million followers on TikTok.
Logina Salah is the mother of a 9-year-old daughter. In a post, Logina said that lupus made it difficult for her to get pregnant, but her daughter came like a miracle.
‘Becoming your mother will always be my greatest achievement, before any title or anything else I have in my life. I want you to remember me as someone who never gave up on her dreams or compromised on her purpose in life. I want to be your role model of resilience, confidence and determination,’ she told her daughter.
The beauty queen and her daughter moved from Egypt to Dubai three years ago. On Instagram, she posts many pictures with her daughter when they participate in activities together. As a mother, Logina Salah is deeply concerned about children’s issues. She participates in many charity activities at children’s hospitals and also founded her own foundation called Beyond The Surface Movement to help children and teenagers.
Logina Salah has recently entered the fashion world, walking at major events across the Middle East. Late last year, she made her runway debut at Dubai Fashion Week.
Modeling experience is a big advantage for the Egyptian beauty at the Miss Universe contest.
In mid-October, Logina Salah went to the Philippines with the national director to urgently train for the Miss Universe 2024 contest. The beauty aims to win the crown.
