NFL legend Michael Strahan ran out of patience when trying to hit a target to dunk Jay Glazer during Fox NFL Sunday as the former New York Giants phenom eventually used his hands to submerge his colleague.
On NFL Sunday, the presentation crew were preparing for Week 5 action to kick off following the conclusion of the sole early window game between the Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets in London. As part of the presentation, NFL analyst Jay Glazer sat on a plank above a water tank, inviting his colleagues to throw either a football or baseball at a target.
If the ball hit the target, Glazer would fall into the tank fully suited and booted. His colleagues lined up gleefully to test themselves, but the challenge proved to be more difficult to overcome than expected.

David Ortiz went first, but his effort with the pigskin was low and missed the target. Glazer took the opportunity to mock his colleague, shouting: “That’s why he was a designated hitter!”
Gronkowski then went next, with Glazer suggesting the only thing the former tight end “knows how to throw is a party”. The Super Bowl champion’s effort with the baseball was surprisingly close, leading to murmurs and gasps around the room.
Jeter then stepped up and fired a dismal throw over the target and the backboard. Glazer poked fun at Jeter’s old nickname during his career with the New York Yankees, saying: “The captain of what?”

Then up stepped Strahan. He bounced the baseball menacingly while declaring: “There is one who wants to hit this target more than me.” However, his throw was narrowly over the target.
Howie Long and MLB legend Alex Rodriguez both missed, with Rodriguez having another crack with the baseball. In the end, Strahan wasn’t having it; he ran up to the target and pushed it with his hand, sending Glazer into the water.
The fun segment is par for the course for the Fox NFL Sunday crew. One fan took to X to post: “This is the best pregame show in the league,” while another wrote: “Freaking LOVE YOU GUYS! We put our dog down on Tuesday and this week has stunk but thank you for always making me smile and laugh as I needed it more than ever this weekend.”
