Keanu Reeves is taking his talents to the racetrack! The John Wick star, 60, made his professional racing debut on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, as reported by the Associated Press. Competing in the Toyota GR Cup alongside the Indy 8 Hour event, Reeves qualified 31st out of 35 cars.
During the 45-minute race, excitement ensued when Reeves’ car spun out at turn 9, but thankfully, he avoided any collisions and was unharmed. After regaining control, he reentered the race and finished in 25th place, even ranking as high as 21st at one point!
Driving the eye-catching red No. 92 BRZRKR car—named after his graphic novel The Book of Elsewhere, released in July—Reeves is set to hit the track again on Sunday, Oct. 6. Fans can’t wait to see how he performs in the next round!
