Kate Middleton is in full holiday mode!
The Princess of Wales, who recently shared that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment, is gearing up for her annual Christmas carol service this December.
PEOPLE can confirm that the event will be broadcast on TV in the U.K. on Christmas Eve. Kate, 42, convened a meeting at Windsor Castle on September 24 with her Kensington Palace team and the Royal Foundation, which she co-chairs with Prince William, 42, to discuss the upcoming plans. This hints that Kate and her family—Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6—might attend the service at Westminster Abbey.
This will mark the fourth year for the carol service, a special occasion for Kate to shine a light on causes and charities close to her and William’s hearts. The meeting on September 24 was officially noted in the court circular, the royal family’s schedule published in U.K. newspapers, stating, “The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this morning held a Meeting at Windsor Castle.”
This marked Kate’s second officially listed meeting in just over a week. On September 17, she gathered with aides and staff from her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood to discuss the advancements in her ongoing mission to support children, parents, and caregivers of young children.
Kate’s latest updates on her work come shortly after she and Prince William were spotted driving to church at Crathie Kirk, located near Balmoral Castle, where they had been visiting King Charles, 75, and Queen Camilla, 77.
While she has been regularly meeting with her palace officials since June, these two recent meetings are the first to be formally documented. It highlights Kate’s commitment to her royal duties even as she continues her recovery from cancer treatment.
