General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) exit is getting closer, so fans are already bracing for a tough goodbye. Many of Monaco’s castmates are also facing a difficult farewell – and that includes her TV sister, Kate Mansi (Kristina Corinthos-Davis).
In a new interview with Michael Fairman, Mansi was asked if she had additional scenes with Monaco coming up.
That led to Mansi settling any confusion about the Sam recast situation since she confirmed Lindsay Hartley was done filling in.
“Lindsay Hartley is not coming back,” Mansi said. “Kelly is finishing out, and I do have some scenes with Kelly. Working with her has been great.”
Kate Mansi also talked about how much she adored Kelly Monaco, who gave Mansi a warm welcome when she joined the show.
Although she’ll certainly miss her co-star, Mansi insisted that Monaco is “super-talented and going to go on to do really great things.”
Of course, there’s been a lot of insider buzz about Sam getting killed off.
GH fans have certainly speculated on Sam’s tragedy – and the show offered a potential hint by suggesting Sam would dive in the choppy river for the gun Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) ditched.
There’s no confirmation on the exact circumstances of Sam’s departure just yet, but Kate Mansi did offer some clues about the rocky road ahead.
Mansi hinted about some looming obstacles for the Davis family that’ll either blow them up and be “scorched earth” or unite them in a time of crisis.
We’d say it could be a little of both if Kristina and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) play the blame game before ultimately coming together down the road.
Our predictions point to Sam’s demise hitting all her family members awfully hard.
