James Kennedy was spotted helping his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, move her belongings out of his $1.3 million home in Burbank, California, on Sunday, days after he was arrested for domestic violence.
After Ally, 28, shared a public statement with her fans and followers, insisting she was “okay” as she took the time she needed to process the scary event, the Vanderpump Rules alum, 32, was seen looking downcast while loading Ally’s things into her car as they prepared to take some time off from their two-year relationship.
In photos taken on Sunday and shared by TMZ, James carried several of Ally’s belongings, including her laundry hamper and a suitcase, to her vehicle before she relocated to a nearby Airbnb, where she is expected to stay with family.
While James and Ally won’t be living together in the coming days, or however long it ends up being, an insider told TMZ that they are still together. That said, Ally is said to be continuing to process what took place as she leans on her family, who flew to Los Angeles to support her in the wake of James’ arrest. She’s also planning to fly home to Ohio for the holidays.
As for their future, no long-term decisions have been made, and it is unclear whether James will join her in her home state for Christmas.
In the days since James was arrested after allegedly picking up his victim, believed to be Ally, and throwing her to the ground, he has continued on with business as usual, traveling to Milwaukee on Saturday for a DJ gig.
While in Wisconsin, per TMZ, James performed to a packed crowd at The Rave Eagles Club and was said to be “having the time of his life” as he danced on stage.
Despite his arrest, James is expected to continue with his DJ gigs and will be seen on stage next in Seattle on December 20.
He’s also hoping that the pending charges against him will be thrown out.
“We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,” his attorneys said in a statement to Us Weekly on Friday. “We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”
