Model Ojani Noa claims rapper Diddy broke up his marriage to Jennifer Lopez more than 20 years ago.

 

Appearing on Despierta America last weekend, Ojani Noa discussed his brief marriage to J.Lo from 1997 to 1998. Ojani blamed Diddy for part of the reason for their split. “Part of the reason for the divorce was because of Diddy,” the Cuban-born fitness trainer said.

Ojani Noa said that at the time they were together, J.Lo had signed a multimillion-dollar deal with Sony and Diddy produced several songs on her first album, On the 6. He said that was the starting point for the split: “I was in Los Angeles opening a restaurant and she was traveling between Miami and New York recording albums. When I had free time, I would visit her. Out of sight, out of mind, that’s where the cheating started.”

 

Also in the interview, Ojani Noa accused his ex-wife of hindering his career and some of his work. “I want to ask Jennifer: ‘What did I do that you would take me to court, accuse me, make up so many false things about me and call so many companies, so many TV channels to not let me work? Why would you do that when I didn’t do anything to you?’” Ojani said.

According to Page Six , Jennifer Lopez and Diddy’s representatives have declined to comment on Ojani Noa’s interview. The singer and Ojani Noa had a rocky relationship after their divorce, as the model repeatedly tried to release a sex tape and an autobiography about their marriage, but J.Lo blocked it.

 

Jennifer Lopez and the 54-year-old music producer dated from 1999 to 2001. The singer attended many events with Diddy during their nearly three-year relationship. They were one of the most famous couples in Hollywood at the time. When Diddy was arrested in mid-September, photos of J.Lo partying with the rapper resurfaced.

Diddy is currently in custody on three counts of conspiracy to commit extortion, sex trafficking, and soliciting prostitution. The rapper has also been sued by multiple individuals for sexual assault in alleged incidents dating back to the 1990s.
