Due to the partnership, the Tigers’ leading scorer will earn an undisclosed amount of equity in the league and placement in different content plans for the league in the future.
The official release states that Johnson will be used in ways that “Take advantage of her unique skill set.” Outside of basketball, Johnson follows in the footsteps of her late father “Camoflauge” as a rapper, achieving over 2.5 million views on her record “Came Out a Beast,” featuring Lil Wayne.
“Im so excited to partner with Unrivaled, especially at the start of their first season,” said Flaujae in a press release. “This isnt just about basketballits about pushing the game forward and creating real opportunities for women in sports.”

With Johnsons inclusion, the league continues to add the biggest names in the sport, including Angel Reese, Aliyah Boston, Dijonai Carrington, and Dearica Hamby.
Johnson is represented by the agency Greenwood Ave, which helped facilitate the deal. The announcement of Johnson joining Bueckers comes just one day after the best friends headlined the internet due to an exchange between the UConn star and Johnson’s little brothers. The Huskies and Tigers were in the Bahamas together for college basketball’s Baha Mar Women’s Championship tournament, and a video surfaced of Bueckers giving a high-five to one of Johnson’s little brothers who said, “What up, Paige Buckets,” while greeting the star.
