Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were spotted out and about in New York City early in the morning, just months after the birth of their first child. The couple, who welcomed a baby boy on May 13, was seen enjoying a rare night off from parenting during a late-night stroll at 4 a.m.
Rihanna, 34, was dressed casually in oversized black sweatpants and a matching hoodie, complemented by a gold necklace and black sunglasses. She went makeup-free, showcasing her natural beauty, and wore her hair pulled back in a simple bun. Her partner, A$AP Rocky, 33, sported a Givenchy hoodie and pants, with his hood up and sunglasses on. The pair were seen holding hands and sharing affectionate moments during their outing.
The couple’s night out comes less than three months after the birth of their son. The infant was born in Los Angeles, but the couple has not yet disclosed his name. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky first revealed their pregnancy in January 2022, and their relationship became public after they were seen together in 2013. Although they dismissed romance rumors in the late 2010s, they began dating in November 2020.
In addition to their personal milestones, Rihanna recently appeared in A$AP Rocky’s music video for “D.M.B.” The video, released in May, features Rihanna showcasing her baby bump. It also includes a playful proposal scene, with A$AP Rocky’s grills spelling out “Marry Me” and Rihanna’s grills reading “I do.”
Interestingly, one of the lyrics in the song references Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who assaulted her in 2009. The line “I don’t beat my…, I need my…” seems to be a direct response to that past.
A$AP Rocky proudly announced his directorial debut with the “D.M.B.” video, which he revealed via Instagram. He expressed gratitude for the support he received and acknowledged Rihanna’s significant role in motivating him.
Their recent NYC outing and the continued buzz surrounding their personal and professional lives highlight the couple’s ability to balance their public and private worlds while navigating the challenges of new parenthood.
