Meet Toli, the sweet and adorable service dog who has dedicated his whole life to make his human best friend, Michael Cantu’s life a lot easier and he is very good at it.
According to Cantu, Toli helps him pretty much in everything since he began his service.
“He’s been with me every step of the way since I got him,” Cantu told The Dodo. “He helps me open doors and drawers, turn on/off lights, picks up things I drop, etc.”
For years, Toli has selflessly helped brighten up Cantu’s life and to express his gratitude and love for the service dog, Cantu decided to celebrate Toli’s 4th birthday in the most special way.
For the happy occasion, Cantu wanted to give a birthday present for Toli. However, rather than choosing the gift himself, he let Toli chose what he wanted for his birthday present instead.
So, they went gift shopping together and it was the most heartwarming scene ever.
At a local pet store, Cantu accompanied Toli as the dog perused the toy aisle as if he knew what the shopping trip was all about.
After a few minutes of browsing through all the toys, Toli eventually chose a soft plush rabbit toy for his gift.
Luckily, Cantu recorded the adorable moment. Ever since the video was made online, it has amassed over 251, 465 views on YouTube alone.
“This has kinda become a tradition on his birthday,” Cantu said. “He loves taking naps and cuddling with his toys.”
Obviously, Toli is in love with his new toy.
“That rabbit, who is now named Chungus, he takes with him everywhere,” Cantu said.
