Thought that I answered the questions to the best of my ability. The public had their interpretation of things, but that didn’t matter to me,” she continued. Her regret over certain comments prompted her to take a step back and reflect on how to approach similar situations moving forward.

Nicole emphasized the importance of staying true to her authentic self, but also acknowledged that there’s value in being more measured in her responses. “I’m trying to continue to have the courage to stand in my power, to be myself, to answer questions honestly and transparently,” Nicole said. “But I also think media training and a little PR goes a long way because you don’t have to answer every question. Not every DM deserves a response. I’m learning that.”
In the aftermath of the podcast, Nicole decided to make a symbolic change—by switching up her hair color. She revealed on social media that she was ready for something new, choosing to go “a little bit darker” for the upcoming colder months.
The change in her appearance seemed to represent a fresh start, and she even teased a “new character” in an Instagram story, suggesting that more transformations might be on the horizon following the podcast mishap.
