In a new clip from Brady’s “Let’s Go!” podcast, the legendary quarterback shared that his ‘greatest football memory’ was seeing his oldest son, Jack, after the 2021 NFC Championship game, when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Green Bay Packers to secure a spot in the Super Bowl.
“When [Jack] came down and gave me a hug, that was probably one of the greatest days of my life,” Brady said in the clip, which was released on Friday, November 8. The sentimental moment wasn’t just about the victory on the field; it was about sharing a cherished experience with his family.
The scene then played out, showing Brady making his way to the sidelines after the game, where he asked security, “Can I say ‘Hi’ to my son?” Moments later, Jack came rushing down to embrace his father. It was a touching moment that showed a different side of Brady—the father, not just the fierce competitor.
“How about that? We’re going to the Super Bowl,” Brady told Jack, who was 15 at the time. “What do you think? I love you, man. Way to go. I’ll see you. I’ll call you a little bit later.” Jack responded with, “Alright, love you,” and Brady added, “Love you, kiddo.” It was an intimate exchange that highlighted the deep bond between father and son, made even more special by the high-stakes setting of an NFC Championship game.
