The Pittsburgh Steelers look set to stick with Justin Fields moving forward despite Russell Wilson returning to full health.
A recent report from The Athletic has stated that the Steelers‘ coaches and players alike see Fields as their guy after playing the first five games with Wilson missing out due to a nagging hamstring injury.
Fields has led the Steelers to a 3-2 record in their first five games, but despite losing their last two and struggling, Mike Tomlin has named Fields as the starter this week – with all reports suggesting this will be the case moving forward.

Coming towards the end of his career, the Steelers may not want to keep Wilson as a back-up, and could use him as a trade asset in the hopes of improving their roster and the team around Fields.
Mirror Sports US has identified three teams who could consider making a move for Wilson before the trade deadline later this month.
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins find themselves in a difficult position after losing their quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for several weeks after suffering another concussion – with his status unclear for the rest of the season. But despite their disastrous start to the year, they sit one win away from being at the top of their division and still look like they have the makings of a playoff team.
If they are to put together a winning streak though, they’re going to need an upgrade at quarterback, with both backups Tyler Huntley and Skyler Thompson struggling. Wilson would be a significant upgrade, and could remain as the starter throughout the season amid Tagovailoa’s injury concerns.

Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders have recently benched Gardner Minshew who has brutally struggled this season, with Aidan O’Connell getting the start this week ahead of him – who is yet to show that he’s a competent NFL starter.
While in a tough division in the AFC West, the Raiders still look to have a competitive roster with talent on both ends. Wilson would join up with perhaps the best wide receiver he’s ever played with, in Davante Adams, should he not be moved after requesting a trade.
Tennessee Titans
Will Levis must improve quickly with the Titans or he could find himself losing his starting place – with four touchdowns and six interceptions through the team’s first four games.
The Titans need a boost offensively or could finish with one of the worst records in the NFL. While Wilson is only a short-term answer, he’d step into a roster filled with offensive talent. And with a new head coach, the Titans may not want to wait around for Levis to improve.
