Dallas Cowboys haven’t returned a win in the NFL since October 6, have lost four games in a row, and are spiraling out of control.

Football analyst Terry Bradshaw, a four-time Super Bowl champion during a 13-year run with the Pittsburgh Steelers, believes he has the solution — even though he realized it may have risked the wrath of his FOX NFL on Sunday colleagues.

Bradshaw’s solution is for the Cowboys to consider trading one of its key players. He believes linebacker Micah Parsons, who has played for Dallas since 2021 when he was drafted from Penn State, should be used to secure a first-round pick, instead.

Additionally, though owner Jerry Jones has previously expressed confidence in Mike McCarthy, Bradshaw expects the embattled head coach to be released at the end of the season.

Bradshaw warned his FOX NFL on Sunday colleagues that he wasn’t sure how they would react to his hot take, but still unloaded ahead of the Cowboys’ latest defeat. Bradshaw said: “I think Mike McCarthy’s probably going to get released at the end of this year. Listen, they had three years in a row where they had 12-5 seasons but they haven’t won one playoff game.

“They have a quarterback that’s out now. They spent $360 million on the quarterback, on the wide receiver and on a defensive cornerback in Diggs. Now they’ve got to sign Parsons.

“My answer on the Dallas problems, they need more talent. So I would take Parsons, their great outside rusher.

“I don’t know how you guys feel about this, but I wouldn’t sign him, because he’s on his fourth year, it’d be his fifth year. Trade him and get an extra number one (Draft pick).”

The 61-year-old won the Super Bowl as coach of the Green Bay Packers when they beat Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010 but has mostly struggled for form since taking the reigns at the Cowboys. To top things off, they now have to sweat on the injury status of Dak Prescott, who is likely sidelined for the rest of the season due to a partially torn hamstring that requires surgery.

Parsons himself, meanwhile, is seemingly unhappy as he seemingly put McCarthy on blast. “You want to win games and do great things with those type of legends,” he said according to Yahoo, referencing 33-year-old Zack Martin, adding they “put in more time and work than Mick McCarthy ever did.”

In a post Monday on X, formerly Twitter, Parsons then blamed the media for, what he said, was misinterpreting his comments. “They trying to use my name, image, and likeness with Dallas Cowboys to continue to tear the beautiful organization with drama and bad media attentions! Be better.”

The Cowboys, McCarthy, and Parsons have a chance November 18 to halt their losing skid should they defeat the Houston Texans. They finish the month with a trip to Washington Commanders on November 24, before an end-of-month match against the New York Giants on November 28.
