Fox NFL Sunday host Terry Bradshaw and Aaron Rodgers have a strained relationship after the Pittsburgh Steelers icon labeled the four-time MVP a “liar.”
Back in 2021, Rodgers infamously gave a misleading implication that he was “immunized” against COVID-19, suggesting to fans and reporters that he had received the appropriate vaccinations. He had, in fact, not received a vaccine, referring instead to a doctor-prescribed therapeutic treatment.
In November, Rodgers was caught out as his vaccination status was revealed when he tested positive for coronavirus and was required to quarantine for 10 days — the minimum amount of time an unvaccinated player is asked to quarantine, per league rules at the time. The quarterback was subsequently ruled out of the Green Bay Packers’ clash with the Kansas City Chiefs amid mass uproar.

At the time, Rodgers was favored to win a second consecutive MVP, and he did so to become the first player to win the coveted award in successive years since Peyton Manning in 2008 and 2009. However, Bradshaw held nothing back after Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19.
“I’d give Aaron Rodgers some advice,” Bradshaw began. “It would have been nice if he had just come to the Naval Academy and learned how to be honest.
“Learn not to lie because that’s what you did, Aaron. You lied to everyone. I understand immunized. What you were doing was taking stuff that would keep you from getting COVID-19. You got COVID-19. Ivermectin is a cattle dewormer. Sorry folks, that’s what it is.

“We are a divided nation politically. We’re a divided nation on the COVID-19 whether or not to take the vaccine, and unfortunately, we’ve got players that pretty much only think about themselves – and I’m extremely disappointed in the actions of Aaron Rodgers.”
Bradshaw will be part of the presentation team for Fox NFL Sunday in Week 7, where Rodgers’ New York Jets take on the Steelers. During his illustrious playing career, Bradshaw played 14 seasons for Pittsburgh, winning four Super Bowl titles and an MVP award.
Given Bradshaw’s comments, Rodgers will hope to secure a win over the Steelers. But the veteran quarterback will also be desperate for a victory as his Jets sit at 2-4 and face being left behind in the AFC playoff race if the losses continue to pile up amid a three-game losing streak.
With former Packers receiver Davante Adams now in New York following a blockbuster trade, the pressure is on Rodgers to deliver and lead the Jets through the AFC East. The Jets face the 4-2 Steelers at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 20.
