During her sold-out Sunday performance at Hard Rock Stadium, Swift altered the lyrics of her hit song “Karma,” a now-familiar move when referencing Kelce. Instead of singing the original line, “Karma is the guy on the screen,” she sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.” The crowd went wild, with fans capturing the moment on social media as cheers erupted throughout the stadium.
While Swift has previously changed the lyrics to “Karma” when Kelce is attending her shows, this time she made the sweet gesture even though he wasn’t present.
Fans were quick to speculate that the shout-out might have been a subtle celebration of the Chiefs’ 28-18 victory over the San Francisco 49ers earlier that day.
