Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker and Super Bowl champion Nigel Bradham was arrested in Florida earlier this month in front of his two young children, according to TMZ. The 35-year-old was reportedly stopped by law enforcement in Tallahassee on October 10 after allegedly driving 78 mph in a 55 mph zone. Bradham, a native of the Florida Panhandle, was driving a 2023 Kia SUV with his children in the vehicle.
The traffic stop uncovered more issues than just speeding. Bradham admitted to officers that he was driving on a suspended license, a repeat offense for him. Additionally, officers discovered an outstanding warrant for Bradham in Leon County related to a prior possession of a controlled substance charge.
He was subsequently handcuffed and taken to a nearby jail, where his mugshot was processed. Bradham has since been released and faces charges for driving on a suspended license in Wakulla County.
Bradham’s latest arrest adds to a series of legal troubles that have followed him over the years. In 2013, he was charged with marijuana possession.
Three years later, in 2016, he was arrested for attempting to bring a loaded firearm through security at Miami International Airport. That same year, he faced a battery charge after allegedly getting into an altercation with a Miami hotel worker over a beach umbrella setup.

In 2021, Bradham’s legal issues escalated when police reportedly seized three pounds of marijuana and multiple firearms from his Corvette, according to TMZ. His repeated run-ins with the law mark a stark contrast to his early success in football.
A standout at Wakulla High School, Bradham went on to play college football at Florida State University. His talent caught the attention of the Buffalo Bills, who selected him in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
After four seasons with the Bills, Bradham joined the Philadelphia Eagles, where he played a key role on the team’s 2017 Super Bowl-winning roster. Following his departure from the Eagles, Bradham had brief practice squad stints with various teams in 2020 but has been out of the NFL since.
The latest charges could complicate Bradham’s efforts to put his legal troubles behind him, especially given the presence of his children during the incident.
