Former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski believes that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s child would be a massive star – both on and off the field.
Last September, Swift sent the league into a tailspin after making a surprise appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game to cheer on Kelce. They were later seen exiting Arrowhead Stadium side by side.
The two world-renowned professionals have since been mutually supportive of one another’s undertakings. Swift has attended several Chiefs games over the last two seasons, including Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas – which she flew 10 hours from Toyko, Japan, to be present at.
Kelce, meanwhile, traveled across the world over the offseason to be present at her Eras Tour concerts in Argentina, Singapore, Australia and London.

On the latest episode of the ‘Dudes on Dudes’ podcast, co-hosts Julian Edelman and Gronkowski praised the power couple and speculated that it won’t be long before they welcome their first child. “He’s a superstar and he’s dating Taylor Swift,” Edelman said of Kelce. “And they might have a kid. That would be a great kid.”
Gronkowski expressed a similar sentiment, asserting that Swift and Kelce “should have a kid” one day. “What, would that kid be performing, like, having eight catches a game and then [at] halftime, he’s doing the halftime show? In, like, 24 years?” he quipped.
The 35-year-old then likened the make-believe child to Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams, who’s taken college football by storm this season despite only being 17 years old. “So, it would be like the new Ryan Williams… you know how he’s 17 years old at Alabama?” he continued.

“So, their kid would be like 14 in college [and] they just surpass middle school because he’s so smart.” Edelman chimed in on the running joke, adding that Swift and Kelce’s offspring would “do a duet with Quavo” right after school wraps up.
“He’ll be in the league at 18 and then singing and performing,” Gronkowski said. “Dang, they need to have a kid if that’s the case. They gotta.”
Turning his attention back to Kelce, Gronkowski flirted with the idea of playing alongside the Chiefs tight end despite retiring in June of 2022. “I think we would be perfect to be both on the same team,” he began.
“I feel like we kinda counter each other, We are different players. His aspect of the game, how he can line up anywhere. How he can motion to any point on the field at any given time. I was kind of a guy [that was] like, ‘Tom [Brady] do I have to motion across the line of scrimmage?’ I’m too big to be motioning. Travis is lighter, you an motion him around.
“We would compliment each other an unbelievably and I would say that we would have been one of the best duos to play, if we’d played with each other. We would’ve broken records.”
It appears as though Kelce is also open to the team-up. Taking to social media, he wrote: “Dudes…. Same Team!?!? Would be unfair!!”
