BREAKING NEWS: NFL Fans Call for Retirement of Fox Sports Analyst After Major On-Air Blunder Sparks Outrage .giang

Legendary NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw is once again facing criticism on social media after another on-air blunder during Fox Sports’ NFL coverage. At 76 years old, Bradshaw has been a mainstay at Fox for three decades, but a series of recent mistakes has left fans questioning whether it might be time for him to retire from the booth.

The latest incident occurred on Sunday while Bradshaw was tasked with narrating the highlights from the 1pm NFL games. As footage of the Buffalo Bills-Tennessee Titans matchup played on the screen, Bradshaw began talking about a completely different game, leaving viewers baffled.

“Nick Chubb is back from his knee injury suffered in week two of last year, but it’s Deshaun—whoops, wrong one,” Bradshaw said, referring to the Cleveland Browns star running back, even as a Bills touchdown was being shown on screen.

Curt Menefee, Bradshaw’s co-host, quickly stepped in to correct the situation, explaining to viewers, “This is Amari Cooper for Buffalo getting the touchdown. His Bills debut, Buffalo rolling past Tennessee 34-10.” Menefee’s quick recovery didn’t go unnoticed, but neither did Bradshaw’s mistake.

This is just the latest in a growing list of on-air errors for the Hall of Famer. In previous weeks, Bradshaw also raised eyebrows with a confusing turn of phrase when discussing Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.

During a segment on Watson’s struggles, Bradshaw suggested, “Do you put Watson down now? He has not played well since he has been in Cleveland, simply has not played well.” His co-hosts, including Howie Long, immediately jumped in to clarify. Long quipped, “I don’t want to put him down. I’d want to sit him,” while Michael Strahan added, “Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. That was a little harsh.”

Bradshaw’s verbal slip-ups have become a topic of concern among fans, especially following health issues that the former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has faced in recent years. Between late 2021 and early 2022, Bradshaw was diagnosed with two different types of cancer: bladder cancer and a rare skin cancer.

Though he has since undergone treatment and returned to the airwaves, fans have noticed changes in his performance. Last season, Bradshaw stumbled through halftime highlights, raising concerns as he was seen coughing and sweating during the broadcast.

These repeated mistakes have led some fans to express their worries for the NFL legend. On social media, there’s a growing sentiment that Bradshaw might be better off stepping away from his role at Fox Sports. “Terry’s been great for years, but he’s losing his edge. Time to retire,” one fan tweeted.

Others have been less forgiving, calling for the network to consider transitioning to a new voice for their NFL broadcasts.

Bradshaw’s contributions to football—both as a four-time Super Bowl champion with the Steelers and as a beloved personality in the broadcast booth—are undeniable. His charisma and humor have made him a fan favorite for years.

However, the accumulation of health struggles and on-air errors have left some questioning whether he should continue in such a demanding role.

As the NFL season progresses, it remains to be seen whether Bradshaw will address these concerns or whether Fox Sports will take steps to reduce his on-screen presence.

Either way, the debate over Bradshaw’s future in the booth is becoming harder to ignore, even for longtime fans who’ve enjoyed his decades-long career.
