Mike Tyson has shared new sparring footage ahead of his much-anticipated face-off with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul next month, but the clip has left some fans worried.

With the fight just weeks away, both men are in the final stages of their training camps, fine-tuning any additional details that might give them an edge on fight night. The showdown between the two boxing stars is set to take place on November 15 at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas. Many in the boxing community have expressed concern for Tyson’s health due to the significant age difference between the two fighters.

With Paul being 31 years younger than the boxing legend, most fans predict an easy win for ‘The Problem Child’. These concerns were amplified when ‘Iron Mike’ had to withdraw from the original match earlier this year due to an ulcer flare-up. Tyson hasn’t participated in a professional fight since 2005 when he lost to Irishman Kevin McBride.

However, he did step into the ring four years ago for an exhibition match against fellow boxing icon Roy Jones Jr. At the height of his career, the 58 year old was unbeatable and is now considered one of the greatest heavyweights in boxing history.

Ahead of their anticipated bout, Paul has been a social media whirlwind, while Tyson’s training for the November clash has been more secretive. However, Tyson recently took to X – the platform formerly known as Twitter – to share a video of himself pounding a heavy bag and sparring, along with a taunting message: “Oh I can’t wait for November 15th. I’m charging right through you,” Yet, some eagle-eyed followers have raised concerns about the footage.

One user pointed out, “I think I know why there are so many jump cuts. You are going to be gassed in 20 seconds.” Another added, “I’m starting to think that dudes in some serious trouble. Hope his insurance is paid up. All that money will buy a nice wheelchair.”

A third remarked, “We see these 10 second clips of furious power and speed …. It’s the 15mins of recovery afterwards we don’t see. Silly fight, with silly caveats in the contract to make it last but as well all know … money ru(i)ns this world now.” And a fourth chimed in with skepticism, saying, “I’ve yet to see 2 min of straight action lol.”

The video has sparked concern among some, but there’s a wave of optimism from fans eagerly anticipating the heavyweight showdown in November. “If anyone can turn back the clock one more time, it’s Mike,” a fan expressed with hope. Another chimed in with support: “Let’s go champ. Iron Mike aging like fine wine. Show them what we missed all these years and deliver a knuckle sandwich knockout.” A third shared their excitement: “Can’t wait either mate, I have not watched boxing since the early 90’s, going to watch this one for sure.” Yet another boldly stated: “Jake is f*****.”

Meanwhile, doubts about ‘Iron Mike’ taking the fight seriously surfaced after he made a surprising revelation. In a conversation with Jimmy Kimmel, the 58 year old boxer revealed his rigorous training schedule: “I am training extremely hard, I do six hours a day. I start at 11am and might leave the gym at 5pm,” Tyson explained.

Kimmel, taken aback, questioned: “Oh no. 11am? So that’s six hours straight, or is there a lunch break? ” Tyson conceded there was a brief intermission, leaving Kimmel astonished as he exclaimed: “Oh no.”
