Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis has hinted at a possible rematch with his old adversary Mike Tyson.

Tyson, 58, is gearing up to face Jake Paul on November 15 at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas, before an anticipated crowd of up to 90,000 spectators. The pair were initially set to clash earlier this year, but “Iron Mike” had to withdraw due to an ulcer flare-up.

The boxing legend was advised to halt training, but he’s now back in the gym and confident he’ll be match-ready for the young contender next month. There are widespread concerns about Tyson’s health as he prepares for his showdown with Paul, especially after the 58-year-old recently confessed to having difficulty walking post-sparring.

His last professional fight was nearly twenty years ago when he was defeated by Kevin McBride, although he did participate in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. four years ago. Tyson is universally acknowledged as one of the greatest heavyweights in boxing history. The ex-world champion triumphed over Marvis Frazier, Trevor Berbick, Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks, and Frank Bruno during his heyday.

However, one of the rare few who managed to outdo him was Lewis. Back in 2002, the ring rumbled as Lewis and Tyson threw down for heavyweight glory, with the former scoring a knockout in round eight to defend his cluster of world titles. Fast forward two decades, and whispers of a rematch are swirling.

Speaking to TMZ, Lewis mulled over the idea: “Let’s see how he makes out in this fight first. I have spoken to Mike, just about fighting. Let’s hope his health is ok. You can’t see things on the outside that may be affecting you on the inside. I wouldn’t want to say he is okay then all of a sudden something happens.”

The buzz among boxing enthusiasts is that “Iron Mike” might not be fully in the fight game mindset after an alleged bombshell dropped. The former champ chatted it up with Jimmy Kimmel, throwing out there that his training routine racks up six hours a day.

“I am training extremely hard, I do six hours a day. I start at 11am and might leave the gym at 5pm,” proclaimed a fierce Tyson. Kimmel, caught off guard by the intensity, jabbed back, “Oh no. 11am? So that’s six hours straight, or is there a lunch break?” Tyson confirmed a brief timeout, leaving Kimmel reeling: “Oh no.”

In the very same sit-down, Kimmel pressed if Tyson planned to get high before squaring off with Paul. Tyson’s response was cheeky as ever: “I’m going to be so high off life, yeah.”

Not letting up, Kimmel poked further: “Will you be high on marijuana, as well?” – to which Tyson owned up: “That’s a possibility, too.” Kimmel couldn’t help but react with a wry: “Oh no my bet is getting lower as we talk.”
