Mike Tyson is gearing up for a potential clash with Tyson Fury, declaring that a “full comeback” is not off the table if he triumphs over Jake Paul this Friday.
The 58-year-old boxing icon hasn’t stepped into the ring for a professional bout since his 2005 loss to Kevin McBride, though he did claim victory against Clifford Etienne in 2003 and later faced Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition match four years ago.
In a move that has shocked many boxing fans, Tyson is slated for a sensational return to the ring on November 15, squaring off against Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, which could see a crowd of 80,000 spectators. The fight will be streamed live on Netflix.

The fight was initially set for July but had to be postponed due to Tyson’s health issues. Despite what some boxing enthusiasts might wish, ‘Iron Mike’ is not dismissing the possibility of stepping into the ring with Fury, who is currently a top-tier heavyweight.
“Nothing will be excluded after I knock out Jake Paul,” he confidently told Mail Online, affirming, “Listen. I’m taking this one fight, one person at a time. But if this one goes as well as I expect, then a full comeback is not off the table.”
When asked about the possibility of facing the likes of Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, and Daniel Dubois, the 58-year-old remarked: “As I said, anything and everything would be included.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard whispers of a potential clash between these two titans. ‘The Gypsy King’ himself has previously mentioned that Tyson was eyeing an exorbitant $500 million for an exhibition match.
“There was talk of it,” Fury told IFL TV. “His people contacted me. Mike and I had a phone call. It was all real but never materialised. Whoever was offering the comeback money to Mike offered us peanuts.

“Mike was talking about $500 million figures [half a billion], but what came back to us on paper was a joke. It was crazy. I did have a $10m offer from ESPN to do the fight as an exhibition, but I think everyone has moved on now.”
He added: “I would have loved to share the ring with him and move around. But if he had won, then people would have said I was rubbish because a 53-year-old beat me. If I had beaten him, then I would have been a bully. It was a lose-lose situation for me. It was money; I didn’t need to fight a man past his best.”
The boxing world is definitely not cheering for a potential Tyson vs. Fury face-off, especially as the sports fans have expressed disappointment over Tyson’s upcoming match with Paul.
