Boxing legend Mike Tyson has threatened to knock out social media star Jake Paul in their highly anticipated heavyweight bout next month. The 58 year old was initially set to face Paul earlier this year but had to withdraw due to health issues.

Now, with his training back on track, Tyson is confident he’ll be ready to take on Paul on November 15 at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas, in front of a massive crowd of up to 90,000 fans. Despite concerns over the significant age gap between the two fighters, with Tyson being 31 years older than Paul, the boxing icon remains determined.

Paul is coming off a recent win against Mike Perry, while Tyson hasn’t fought professionally since his 2005 loss to Kevin McBride, although he did participate in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. four years ago.

Tyson has been open about his struggles, including recently admitting to difficulties walking after a sparring session, but he’s still vowing to put Paul “to sleep” in the ring. The pre-fight banter is heating up as both fighters in their final stages of training camp have taken the trash talk to a whole new level.

Tyson took a shot at Paul with a disturbing vow but with a quirky spin via an upload on X, previously known as Twitter, that showed inflatable versions of ‘Iron Mike’ and ‘The Problem Child’ trading verbal jabs. Tyson’s inflatable avatar boasted: “I can put this little YouTuber to sleep” while Paul’s retorted with a sharp jab: “You, yeah you! Watch me put rusty Iron Mike to sleep, live on Netflix.”

As the showdown looms under a month away, Paul has immersed himself in watching countless hours of Tysons past bouts, planning to counter the boxing icon’s strategy, which he surmises as, “to trap me on the ropes and then get blows off to angles on each side.”

Discussing his own battle plan, Paul stated confidently: “To just box on the outside and then use my footwork to be more agile and get him chasing me and then attack him when he’s out of position. That should frustrate him.”

Some skeptics think the 58 year old isn’t fully committed to his upcoming bout. On Jimmy Kimmel’s show, ‘Iron Mike’ revealed his intense training regimen: “I am training extremely hard, I do six hours a day. I start at 11am and might leave the gym at 5pm,” he shared.

The host, visibly surprised, responded, “Oh no. 11am? So that’s six hours straight, or is there a lunch break? ” Tyson conceded there’s a brief intermission, prompting an astonished Kimmel to exclaim, “Oh no.”
