Mike Tyson has finally broken his silence on Jake Paul’s audacious $5million pre-fight wager ahead of their much-anticipated bout next month.

Earlier this month, the YouTube sensation turned professional boxer, known as ‘The Problem Child’, boldly offered the boxing legend a hefty sum if he can survive until the fourth round of their upcoming match. In a video posted on TikTok via his betting site, Betr, Paul is seen lounging shirtless on a couch, stacking money on his faux belly.

“Mikey, Mikey, if you can last more than four rounds with me, I’ll give you an extra $5 million,” the young American provocatively stated. However, there was a twist to his proposition.

‘The Problem Child’ disclosed that if Tyson fails to endure more than four rounds, then the boxing titan will have to bear a permanent reminder of his defeat to the youngster. He added: “But, if you don’t, then you have to get a tattoo that says I love Jake Paul. Deal or no deal?” As of now, Tyson’s camp has not yet responded to the staggering bet.

In a recent chat with Sports Illustrated, Paul was quizzed about the bet and whether Tyson had reacted to the game-changing offer. “I think I TKO or KO him in rounds four or five,” he predicted “But yeah, he hasn’t responded to the bet and I don’t think he probably will. I think he’s locked-in in war mode.”

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has thrown down the financial gauntlet ahead of his upcoming bout, demanding a hefty sum to step into the ring with YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul. In a candid chat with USA TODAY Sports, the 58 year old heavyweight icon didn’t mince words: “He should offer more.” Pressed for a figure, Tyson laid it out plainly: “Tell him probably about 20 (million).”

Tyson’s bold counteroffer quadruples Paul’s initial bid, setting the stage for a high-stakes negotiation as the two prepare to clash at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas on November 15. The event promises to pack the house, with up to 90,000 fans expected to witness the spectacle.

The pair were originally slated to face off earlier this year, but Tyson had to bow out due to an ulcer flare-up in July that halted his training. Now back in fighting form, Tyson assures fans he’ll be ready to rumble come fight night.

Paul, known as ‘The Problem Child,’ isn’t taking his opponent lightly, having pored over footage of Tyson’s past matches. He anticipates Tyson will aim “to trap me on the ropes and then get blows off to angles on each side.”

As for his own strategy, Paul plans to “To just box on the outside and then use my footwork to be more agile and get him chasing me and then attack him when he’s out of position. That should frustrate him.”
