Joy Taylor divulged the specific trait she looks for in a man long before a bombshell lawsuit alleged that she slept with FOX Sports executive Charlie Dixon and on-air talent Emmanuel Acho.
On an episode of the ‘Two Personal Show’ that aired last March, Taylor asserted that her prospective partner must have nonromantic relationships with other women. “I don’t want to date a man that doesn’t have any female friendships,” she told guest Taylor Rooks.
“I don’t want to date a man who only gets input from other men and who has all women in two categories, your mother or your aunties or someone I want to sleep with. You have to have a broader spectrum on women and their value in your life if you’re going to be with me.”

Nearly one year after Taylor voiced her dating preferences, she was named as a defendant in a 42-page lawsuit filed by former FOX Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji. In the explosive legal filing, the media personality was accused of sleeping with several of her colleagues at the corporation in an attempt to advance her career.
In a subsection of the suit labeled “Ms. Taylor again uses her sexuality to get on a show,” Faraji claimed to have confronted Taylor upon learning that she was romantically involved with Acho.
“In approximately February 2020, Ms. Taylor asked Ms. Faraji to meet her for lunch in Beverly Hills,” the lawsuit read. “When Mr. Faraji arrived, she found Ms. Taylor with a man, Emmanuel Acho (‘Mr. Acho’). Ms. Faraji did not know Mr. Acho but could tell that the two were romantically involved.

“A few months after meeting Mr. Acho at the lunch, Ms. Faraji noticed him in the hallway while at work. Ms. Faraji later asked Ms. Taylor if Mr. Acho also worked at Fox. Ms. Taylor confirmed and explained that she wanted Mr. Acho to eventually recommend her on the show ‘Speak for Yourself.’”
Given Taylor’s alleged relationship with Dixon at the time, Faraji advised the FOX Sports host that sleeping with two of her coworkers at once was a bad idea.
“Ms. Faraji became alarmed and warned Ms. Taylor that she should probably not sleep with Mr. Dixon and Mr. Acho at the same time, as Mr. Dixon is a very powerful man that may become very angry,” the suit continued.
“Ms. Taylor told her not to worry about it. She explained that was also now powerful, and once Mr. Dixon was no longer useful to her, she would follow through on her plan to tell the company that he forced himself on her. She would not allow herself to be forced out by Mr. Dixon like other women talent.”
One day after the aforementioned lawsuit was made public, Taylor made her scheduled appearance alongside Michael Irving, Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce on Monday’s episode of ‘Speak’.
FOX Sports said in a statement in light of the lawsuit: “We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation”. Taylor, Bayless and Acho have not yet commented on the allegations and has been approached for comment.
