Joe Rogan is set up to welcome Donald Trump on his hugely popular podcast this week – and a sit down with Kamala Harris might also be on the horizon.
The pre-election interview with Trump is set for this Friday at Rogan’s studio in Austin, Texas. This episode will be the 2,218th of “The Joe Rogan Experience”, which enjoys a whopping 14.5 million Spotify followers and another 17.5 million subscribers on YouTube.
Trump’s upcoming appearance isn’t exactly unexpected; he hinted at the engagement earlier in the month. Speaking with the “Nelk Boy”, the 78-year-old expressed his willingness: “Oh sure I would. I mean I think I’m doing it, actually.”

Trump teased fans about the episode earlier, hinting to the “Nelk Boys”: “Oh sure I would. I mean I think I’m doing it, actually.” Pressed for confirmation by Kyle Forgeard on “Nelk Boys”, the ex-president affirmed: “Yeah, I am.”
But that might just be the appetizer as Vice President Harris could also soon find herself across from Rogan. The UFC commentator hasn’t been shy about his admiration, particularly after September 11 when he lavished praise on her campaign oratory skills while speaking with Tom Segura.
Rogan said “whoever is helping her, whoever’s coaching her, whoever’s the puppet master running the strings,” claiming they were doing an “amazing job”. He added: “She’s nailing it. She nailed that one speech that’s like ‘say it to my face.'”

As for who he thought won the debate, Rogan argued that it wasn’t about “who’s going to have better policies” or “who’s going to be better for the country,” but rather about which candidate was best prepared to speak on stage. Harris, on the other hand, was “saying things she believed, and they sounded real good”.
Rogan later warned on his show that if Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, were elected, they could further restrict free speech online. “I don’t think it turns around if Kamala Harris gets into office,” he told ex-Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan. “I think they clamp down more. I think the same stuff that they were trying to do with Twitter, they’ll try to do with something else, with other things.”
Rogan also criticized MSNBC for taking his words out of context to make it seem like he was praising Harris. “I’m not suing MSNBC,” he said on his show. “But this is what MSNBC did: They took a clip of me talking about Tulsi Gabbard and they edited it up and made it look like I was saying great things about Kamala Harris.
“I was talking about Tulsi Gabbard being a congresswoman for eight years and about how she served overseas [as part of] two deployments in medical service dealing with people who were blown up by the war,” he added. “That’s not something Kamala Harris did. That’s something Tulsi Gabbard did.”
Rogan, who hasn’t publicly backed any presidential hopeful in this year’s race, rebutted the idea that he supported Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent, back in August. “For the record, this isn’t an endorsement,” he made it clear on X. “This is me saying that I like RFK Jr. as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world.”
