Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler has dazzled fans with a grand tour of his lavish multi-million dollar estate, complete with a personal coffee shop.

Basketballers are known for their fondness for sumptuous living and palatial homes. However the six-time NBA All Star’s take on luxury stands out in the form of his Californian haven.

Nestled just beyond San Diego, Butler’s expansive residence exudes a Spanish revival charm and is outfitted with an array of deluxe amenities, including an indulgent music room and a well-stocked wine cellar. Yet, what sets it apart is the coffee shop he’s incorporated right within his home.

During a video showcase with Architectural DigestButler proudly proclaims that the cafe offers his personal coffee brand, ‘Bigface. ‘ Although, as per Butler’s own words, enjoying a brew in his domain comes at a steep price.

“This is the first Bigface coffee shop in my own home,” Butler said. “I will allow my neighbors to come in here, but for everybody here, coffee will cost you 60 bucks and I’m not f*****g around,” he added from behind his coffee bar.

Butler’s passion for coffee blossomed during the Covid pandemic. While the NBA set up an isolated bubble to keep the games going, the 35-year-old began peddling the brew to his fellow players.

Launched in October 2021, Bigface is slang for a $100 billis and his abode now features the brand’s inaugural location. The seasoned NBA icon also gave a peek into his impressive wine cellar, which houses a staggering 20,000 bottles of vino.

He credits his affinity for wine and the creation of his cellar to his pal and A-lister Mark Wahlberg, who introduced him to the finer points of the beverage. As he showcased the rest of his digs, including a sprawling outdoor pool with its own cabana and kitchen, Butler shared that once his basketball days are over, he’s all about kicking back in his coffee shop.

“This is my spot. After basketball, this is what I want to be doing,” Butler said. “Coffee’s a lot like wine in the sense that you can never know everything about it. But more than anything you get to sit down with people that you don’t get to see every day. And that’s always been my dream. Just chill, have coffee and talk to some really cool people.”

The sprawling £7m (£5.4m) estate boasts an impressive upstairs landing, a volleyball court, a luxurious primary bedroom, and a sun-drenched conservatory lined with expansive windows. As Butler himself has admitted, the resort-like ambiance of his home was no stroke of luck – it was meticulously designed to emanate that holiday vibe.

Speaking tenderly of his residence, Butler didn’t hesitate to share that he invested his all into the creation of this home. With memories of a challenging childhood in Texas, he reflects on those days often, especially during the construction of his lavish mansion.

“I grew up with a whole bunch of nothing,” Butler said. “So I’ve dreamed of having a home for myself, for my family, and I put everything into this house.”
