Jameis Winston pulled out a legendary Eminem quote after his incredible performance led the Cleveland Browns to an incredible win over the Baltimore Ravens in the shock of the weekend in the NFL.
Winston threw for 334 yards while scoring three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Browns’ best offensive performance of the season – the first in which Winston has started after Deshaun Watson’s season-ending injury.
Watson had been struggling mightily throughout the season with fans becoming frustrated with head coach Kevin Stefanski continuing to start him over Winston, as calls for Watson’s benching continue to grew louder in recent weeks.

But as each week had grew on, Stefanski continued to back Watson when no others had. Just two weeks ago, he said: “I think Deshaun gives us the best chance to win, continues to give us the best chance to win.”
But in the first game without Watson, the Browns scored more than 20 points for the first time this season while having their best offensive performance – looking well-rounded with Winston in at quarterback.
Speaking to CBS’ reporter Amanda Balionis after the game, Winston spoke about being the starter moving forward and the opportunity ahead of him.

He responded by using Eminem lyrics from his hit ‘Lose Yourself’, as he said: “You only get one shot. Do not miss your chance to blow. This opportunity lasts once in a lifetime.”
Watson had torn his Achilles tendon in the Browns loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, with Stefanski surprisingly opting to play Dorian Thompson-Robinson ahead of Winston. But that lasted just two quarters before Winston had come into the game – looking like a clear upgrade over Thompson-Robinson.
The Browns’ have one of the stronger defensive units in the league, with many accepting that it had been the offense, and primarily, Watson, who had held them back.
But should Watson be able to continue the level of play that he had shown in the win over the Ravens – Cleveland could be seen as legitimate contenders in the AFC.
