Jake Paul declared Mike Tyson “must die” after he slapped him in the face during their final face off before their blockbuster fight on Friday night.
Paul and Tyson took to the stage for a ceremonial weigh-in on Thursday evening after officially taking to the scales earlier in the day. Paul was up first, and when Tyson made his way over to where he was waiting at the opposite side of the stage, all hell broke loose.
Paul initially crawled towards Tyson on all fours before getting up into his face. The former heavyweight world champion quickly snapped, slapping his upcoming opponent in the face with his right hand.

The pair were quickly soon separated as Paul blew a kiss towards Tyson and riled up the crowd, while the 58-year-old was dragged away to the opposite side of the stage. Host Ariel Helwani tried to get some reaction from a riled up Tyson, who simply said: “I’m ready” then walked away when asked why he slapped Paul.
Paul, however, leaned into the drama and cut an explosive promo on the microphone in the immediate aftermath. He claimed the incident made the fight “personal” and declared Tyson “must die” in a morbid threat.
Paul raged: “I didn’t even feel it, he’s angry. He’s an angry little elf and he’s getting knocked the —- out.
“I’m ——- knocking him out. He hits like a —–. It’s personal now; he must die.”
Speaking at the press conference 24 hours earlier, Paul insisted the fight, which will consist of eight, two-minute rounds and see the fighters wearing 14oz gloves, will end in a knockout.
“No, someone’s getting put to sleep,” Paul said. “It’s going to be a war and we’re both heavy hitters. It’s not going the full 16 minutes.”
Tyson, meanwhile, had little to say at the same press conference but did reiterate firmly: “I’m not going to lose”.
