Boxing legend Mike Tyson has sparked concern among fans after sharing a video of his training session ahead of his much-anticipated bout with Jake Paul. Some followers have expressed worry that the 58-year-old may be nursing an injury.

Tyson, known as ‘Iron Mike’, is set to make a dramatic comeback to the ring next month when he faces off against ‘The Problem Child’ Paul, who is 31 years his junior. Tyson hasn’t participated in a professional fight since his defeat to Kevin McBride in 2005, although he did step into the ring for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr four years ago.

The high-profile face-off between Tyson and Paul is slated for November 15 at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas. The pair were originally scheduled to meet earlier this year, but Tyson had to withdraw from the initial match in July due to an ulcer flare-up.

Paul, on the other hand, has been quite active in the boxing scene since making his professional debut in 2020. With a record of 10 wins and one loss, the 27-year-old has claimed victories over Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz. His sole defeat came at the hands of Tommy Fury last year.

Concerns are mounting over Tyson’s health as he gears up for the heavyweight clash, with fans criticizing the decision to proceed with the fight. Observers have become increasingly worried after noticing something amiss in recent footage of ‘Iron Mike’.

One user pointed out: “Hope right knee is holding. Is it an injury? ” In the video, Tyson, at 58 years old, is seen working a heavy bag and sparring with a partner while sporting a knee support on his right leg, hinting at a possible issue ahead of the bout.

But that wasn’t the only red flag raised by the clip. Another user observed: “I think I know why there are so many jump cuts. You are going to be gassed in 20 seconds.”

A different comment read: “I’m starting to think that dudes in some serious trouble. Hope his insurance is paid up. All that money will buy a nice wheelchair.”

Someone else added: “We see these 10 second clips of furious power and speed …. It’s the 15mins of recovery afterwards we don’t see. Silly fight, with silly caveats in the contract to make it last but as well all know … money ru(i)ns this world now.”

And yet another chimed in: “I’ve yet to see 2 min of straight action lol.”

While some have expressed concern over a recent video, there are still optimistic fans eagerly awaiting the November heavyweight showdown. One fan expressed confidence in the legendary fighter, stating: “If anyone can turn back the clock one more time, it’s Mike,” Another supporter enthusiastically added: “Let’s go champ. Iron Mike aging like fine wine. Show them what we missed all these years and deliver a knuckle sandwich knockout.”

Someone else is reviving their interest in the sport for this bout, saying, “Can’t wait either mate, I have not watched boxing since the early 90’s, going to watch this one for sure.” Yet another bluntly commented: “Jake is f—–.”
