“Look, they’ve got to restart. They’ve got to do something different, in my opinion. How are you going to fix it?” Ryan said during a recent broadcast. “Deion Sanders may be in play here, and I’m going to tell you, they need somebody who has pride in that [expletive] organization—someone who knows what it means to be a Dallas Cowboy, the pride that comes with it. And by the way, everywhere Deion has been, he’s been kicking you-know-what.”

Ryan continued, emphasizing that Sanders could be just what the Cowboys need. “The whole thing needs to be blown up, but watch what happens if Deion comes in. They need someone who can get this team back on board. The players are going to have to respect whoever comes into that building, and you can’t not respect Deion Sanders. He’s twice the player that most of these guys are.”
Rex Ryan’s endorsement of Sanders comes at a time when the Cowboys are struggling to find consistency under Mike McCarthy.
