Virgin River enthusiasts were taken aback when one of the Netflix series’ stars revealed their connection to a Wednesday actor. The post came after the new season of Wednesday landed, sparking wild fan theories along with one major gripe, reports the Mirror.
Ben Hollingsworth, who plays Brady on Virgin River, shared a heartfelt tribute to co-star Luis Guzman after the duo previously worked together on a TV series years before landing their current Netflix roles.
The Virgin River favorite posted an Instagram clip from their old show, writing: “Humility, kindness, patience, charity… you know, the big ones. Newcomer @loueyfromthehood everyone!”.
“On @codeblack_cbs I learned a lot watching @mgh_8, Luis, @roblowe + a plethora of ridiculously talented actors. Biggest lesson? Listening. Not just hearing lines, but really being present-letting it change you.
“Sounds simple, but it’s one of the hardest things to nail as an actor. Still working on it – ask my wife. Helps when you’re opposite a legend though.”
Hollingsworth concluded: “Luis’ little show “Wednesday” just dropped S2 on @Netflix-go binge!”.
Both Guzman and Hollingsworth had previously appeared together in CBS medical drama Code Black, which aired for three seasons between 2015 and 2018.
The series followed medical personnel at an overwhelmed emergency department in Los Angeles, drawing inspiration from a 2013 documentary.
Viewers flooded Hollingsworth’s post with comments, with many inquiring about the television program. Fans of the show have been vocal about their love for it, with one viewer saying: “I loved code black so much. I wish they didn’t cancel it! It really was so so good and the cast was.”
Another chimed in: “I saw Code Black and I like it. Cool show and stories.”

The scene that has everyone talking features Hollingsworth’s character, junior doctor Dr. Mario Savetti, receiving some sage advice from Guzman’s character, senior nurse Jesse Salander, after a heated altercation involving a patient.
This touching moment shows Jesse guiding Mario on how to conduct himself in the ER, given his challenging past.
The CBS hospital drama boasts an all-star cast including acclaimed American actress Marcia Gay Harden, Hollywood heavyweight Rob Lowe, Homeland’s Raza Jaffrey, and NYPD Blue’s Bonnie Somerville, among others.

Hollingsworth’s clip comes as Wednesday season two shot back to the top of the Netflix chart, with approximately 50 million viewers tuning in within the first four days of its release, according to Deadline.
This impressive figure marks the second-highest weekly total ever for a Netflix series, placing it just behind Wednesday season one.
The second season of the hit show “Wednesday” has been divided into two parts, with the concluding half set to premiere next month, wrapping up the intriguing narrative involving Willow Hill Asylum and the enigmatic Aunt Ophelia.
The latest episodes have brought more of the Addams family to the screen, with Guzman returning as Gomez Addams and starring alongside Jenna Ortega in the lead role, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams.
The new season also boasts guest appearances from stars like Billie Piper, Thandiwe Newton, Steven Buscemi, Christopher Lloyd, Haley Joel Osment, Frances O’Connor, Joanna Lumley, and Heather Matarazzo.
