Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds was shot in the back of the head after leaving a strip club last week, according to reports.

Multiple shots were allegedly fired with two hitting the NFL star – one in the arm and one in the back of his head. Incredibly, Reynolds is said to have only suffered minor injuries. A statement from the Broncos read: “Josh Reynolds was a victim of a shooting on Friday in Denver and received treatment for minor injuries. Out of respect for the legal process, we will defer further comment on this matter to the authorities.”

Authorities were called to the scene at around 3 am in South East Denver where individuals were shot in a blue Ford Bronco, with Reynolds being confirmed as one of the individuals in the vehicle. The other man has allegedly also suffered injuries – being shot in the back.

As reported by 9News, Police had located the victims’ vehicle on Interstate 25, which was seen to have numerous bullet holes in the back driver-side and front windshield. Reynolds was said to have been at Shotgun Willies, a strip club in the Glendale area, with the incident occurring less than 15 minutes after he left.

As they left the club, reports suggested that two drivers began to follow them in their cars before shots were fired – continuing to follow them as they pulled onto the highway. However, they could no longer drive their Ford Bronco vehicle and fled on foot.
