Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard were a united front on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet.
The Hollywood lovebirds, who have been married since 2013, posed for photos together on the carpet — in attendance to celebrate Bell’s acting nomination for the hit Netflix series Nobody Wants This.
The Veronica Mars actress, 44, stunned in a strapless rose gold beaded Ashi Studio bustier with matching floor-length skirt. She wore her hair pulled back in a chic knot and accessorized with REZA jewelry.
By Bell’s side, the Parenthood alum — who turned 50 on Jan. 2 — wore a classic black suit with a white button-down shirt and black tie. He kept it casual with black and white checkered Vans and black sunglasses.
Speaking with PEOPLE in September, the Frozen voice actor said she was drawn to the Netflix comedy because it was a “modern rom-com.”
“I love that the characters are what, 38? And that it addresses everything from the perils of dating apps to what it actually means for people with different backgrounds and outlooks on life to bridge those differences in the name of love,” said Bell. “It’s a grown-up rom-com.”
On top of the love from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Shepard has also given glowing reviews to his wife’s performance — particularly the chemistry Bell has with her costar Adam Brody.
“Watching the first episode, he was like, ‘Oh my God, I want you to kiss him so badly,’ ” Bell said of Shepard in an interview with E! News.
“We watched that scene together, the kissing scene, which I’d argue is the very best kissing scene ever, ever put on film,” Shepard said of the experience during an appearance at The New Yorker Festival, joking that, even though he and his wife have “incredible chemistry,” it’s not as good as Bell has with Brody.

Bell’s nomination, for best performance by a female actor in a television series in the musical or comedy category, is the second of her acting career. At the 2019 Golden Globes, she scored a nod for her role in The Good Place but ultimately lost out to Rachel Brosnahan’s acclaimed The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel performance. Even though she didn’t take home a trophy that year, she did receive a handful of heart-shaped cards from her daughters, adorned with drawings of their parents and touching messages cheering on their mom, which she shared to her Instagram Stories.
“I love you, Mama, and I love that you have a nomination,” read one of the notes.

Pregnant with their first daughter, daughter Lincoln, Bell also attended the awards ceremony with Shepard in 2013 — showing off her baby bump in a stunning lilac silk-chiffon empire dress.
“Wish us luck on our nomination for most PDA!” Bell shared on X (formerly Twitter) after the couple — who were spotted sharing a kiss heading towards the show — had finished walking the carpet.
In 2017, Bell treated her Instagram followers to an extensive behind-the-scenes look at her glam session ahead of the awards show, which included face masks, butt pads and even makeup application to her cleavage. She even shared a glimpse of a Golden Globes afterparty attended by her and Shepard, where they ditched the standard Hollywood debauchery for a wholesome game of Settlers of Catan.
