Bryson DeChambeau left Donald Trump a little confused during a speech in Florida on Wednesday morning after he was re-elected President of the United States.
Trump returns to the Oval Office after defeating Democrat, Kamala Harris at the polls, and celebrated in front of his voters at the Palm Beach Convention Center. As part of his victory speech, Trump welcomed U.S. Open champion golfer, DeChambeau to the crowd, but the LIV Golf star appeared to have gone missing.
Announcing DeChambeau, the President-elect said: “We have up here today the U.S. Open champion. He is a fantastic golfer. He is slightly longer than me and hits the ball a little longer than me.

“Just a little bit, it is Bryson DeChambeau.” Trump then checks his group of allies on either side of him on stage but is unable to pick out the Crushers GC captain. “He is up here someplace,” the Republican added. “What happened to Bryson? Where is he? Bryson?”
“He’s hitting balls,” the President-elect said with an awkward smile. “Oh, he is on the way… Oh, look at him.” And just like that DeChambeau was ushered onto stage, making his way up some steps in a ‘Make America Great Again’ cap, before being greeted by some of Trump’s colleagues.
Looking rather sheepish after his late showing, DeChambeau smiled briefly before offering a wave over to Trump. DeChambeau and Trump are no strangers to each other, with the LIV Golf star bringing the President onto his ever-growing YouTube channel earlier this year.

Trump took part in DeChambeau’s ‘break 50’ challenge, which has also seen the U.S. Open champion partner up with the likes of Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Tony Romo, and John Daly. DeChambeau’s decision to mix golf with politics split opinion at the time, but he defended his content at LIV Golf UK earlier this summer.
“First off, it’s an honor to play with anybody of that type of influence, no matter who it is on any political side,” he said at JCB Golf and Country Club in July. “Again, this whole content piece, it’s a content creation piece, was about delivering some unique different content on YouTube.
“We wanted to showcase the golf abilities of any influential person, and he was definitely up on a list that I wanted to showcase. We were able to call out and ask him to play, and he said yeah, absolutely. We asked the other side, as well, and anyone that wants to play. They’re more than willing to do something for charity.
“Wanted to make it about charity and the Wounded Warriors Foundation. I’ve done a lot for them in the past, and it was fantastic to see that he was willing to support it, as well, as well as anybody that wants to support their charity, I’m more than willing to do a fundraiser for them and drive a lot of traction to those charities, whichever they are.”
