Angle Reese set the record straight with a reporter by telling them they were “way off” in estimating her net worth at $2million.
As one of the shining stars of 2024 in the WNBA, the 22-year-old has been on a meteoric rise since joining forces with the Eastern Conference’s Chicago Sky. The formidable power forward climbed the ladder at LSU, clinching the 2023 NCAA Championship and earning the title of Most Outstanding Player of the tournament before being drafted into the WNBA in 2024.
Selected seventh overall by the Sky, Reese made her mark from the get-go, despite an 87-79 debut loss to the Dallas Wings in May. Her individual stats shone through, as she racked up 12 points and eight rebounds, showcasing her undeniable talent.

June saw Reese crowned as the league’s Rookie of the Month, thanks to her impressive averages of 14.5 points and 13.2 rebounds per game, and she wrapped up the season in September with stellar averages of 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.
Despite being somewhat eclipsed by Caitlin Clark, the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year, Reese’s star is undeniably on the ascent in women’s basketball – evidenced by her selection as a WNBA All-Star and her inclusion in the WNBA’s All-Rookie Team of the year, reports the Irish Star.
On the basketball court, Reese has been nothing short of sensational, and her off-court charm has propelled her to be one of the most sought-after athletes for endorsements. She’s clinched deals with big names like Reebok, McDonald’s, Beats by Dre and Reese’s, among others.
At this year’s ComplexCon in Las Vegas, Reese offered a glimpse into her financial realm and net worth during an interview with Speedy Morman. When Morman queried: “$2 Million. Is that inaccurate?” Reese simply replied: “Yeah.”

Opting not to delve too deep, Morman inquired if the figure was even in the right ballpark, prompting Reese to firmly correct him: “Way off.” Reese remained tight-lipped on the specifics of her wealth, yet she did share with listeners that she’s been in a position to pay off her mother’s mortgage.
Detailing the benefits of her success, she said: “I’m able to spend time with my mom. I can pay my mom’s mortgage. My family, everybody’s taken care of.” Finally, Reese emphasized: “One thing about me, I have a really good circle around me, and I think that’s really important.”
Reese is set to further enhance her impressive net worth when she joins forces with Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart’s Unrivaled league during her Chicago Sky off-season. The league, slated for a January 2025 launch, will feature 3×3 teams brimming with some of the most talented players in today’s game, competing over an eight-week period. Big names like Reese, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Brittney Sykes and Courtney Vandersloot are all on board.
