However, St. Brown decided to share the message with his followers, adding fuel to the post-game drama.
“You a (expletive),” Lewis wrote in a DM to St. Brown, responding to one of the wide receiver’s Instagram Stories celebrating the win. In a move that quickly went viral, St. Brown took a screenshot of the message and posted it on his Instagram Story for all to see.

Lewis, who has been feuding with St. Brown since last season, wasn’t happy that their private exchange was made public. “That was between me and him. He decided to show the world,” Lewis wrote on social media after seeing the screenshot making the rounds online.
To Lewis’s credit, he did acknowledge that his emotions sometimes get the better of him. When one fan commented, “J Lew you’re a dawg but sometimes you gotta let it go bruh,” Lewis replied, “You’re absolutely right.”
While the game itself was a one-sided affair, the post-game drama has kept fans buzzing, particularly with Lewis and St. Brown’s ongoing rivalry. The Lions’ dominant win sent a message to the rest of the league, and it’s clear that they’re not afraid to get under the skin of their opponents—even after the final whistle.
With both teams likely to remain competitive through the rest of the season, it’s not far-fetched to imagine a rematch in the playoffs come January. Should the Cowboys and Lions face off again, the bad blood between St. Brown and Lewis is sure to add an extra layer of intensity to what could be an epic showdown.
