What was intended to build excitement quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons, as fans were baffled by the design choices made in the graphic.
For next Thursday’s game, Prime Video opted to feature Broncos head coach Sean Payton as the face of Denver, which makes sense given Payton’s high-profile move to the team this year. However, instead of using a current player or head coach for the Saints, the network selected Saints defensive end Cam Jordan, one of Payton’s former players, to represent New Orleans.
While Jordan is a respected veteran, his selection over current head coach Dennis Allen raised eyebrows. Jordan has struggled this season and hasn’t been nearly as productive as he was in previous years, leading many to question the logic behind the graphic.
The choice left fans confused, with many feeling that if Payton was the focus for Denver, Allen should have been similarly highlighted for New Orleans. Jordan’s declining performance also added to the confusion, as the Saints are in the midst of a rough season, with Jordan not having the impact he once did.
Over the past 12 hours, social media has been buzzing with reactions to the bizarre promo. Barstool Sports poked fun at the graphic, tweeting, “Looks like Sean Payton has to take on the Saints all by himself.” Fans also chimed in, with one commenting, “They’re promoting Cam because he’ll probably be doing TV for them when he retires next year.” Others were more blunt, calling it a “trash graphic” and questioning what Amazon was thinking.

Despite the odd presentation, the game itself is an intriguing matchup. The Broncos have managed a 3-2 record, thanks largely to their stout defense, but Sean Payton’s offense, led by quarterback Bo Nix, is still finding its rhythm.
On the other side, the Saints have struggled to a 2-3 start, despite opening the season with back-to-back blowout wins. Injuries have plagued New Orleans, particularly with quarterback Derek Carr sidelined for multiple games.
