Belal Muhammad has unleashed his inner Khabib Nurmagomedov in a bold response to Conor McGregor’s recent callout. The Irish superstar took to social media, expressing his desire to face Belal for the UFC welterweight title. Unfazed, Belal laughed off the challenge, casually replying, “send location.”
McGregor has previously fought at welterweight and was eyeing a return to the octagon at 170 pounds. After Michael Chandler backed out of their planned bout, McGregor is actively seeking a new opponent and has set his sights on the welterweight champion.
However, Belal is no stranger to trash talk, especially after claiming the title at UFC 304 in Manchester earlier this year. In a lighthearted video, the champ was seen cooking with a banana in a pan, humorously addressing accusations that McGregor has a penchant for substances.
In his trademark style, Belal quoted Khabib’s iconic “send location” line, asserting, “So Conor, you want to fight me? You want to meet me in the cage? Bully B? Let’s go, bro, anytime, send location!”
While “BullyB” technically accepted McGregor’s challenge, he’s also focused on more pressing matters: his first title defense. He’s set to face the undefeated Shavkat Rakhmonov, a fighter known for quickly dispatching opponents.
After months of rivalry with fellow welterweights, Belal recently made headlines with some blunt remarks about Kamaru Usman, calling him out on the “pound-for-pound podcast.” He stated, “Usman was terrible at talking, he was terrible at fighting, he got embarrassed… Shavkat, see you soon, boy.”
Belal is determined to face the most formidable contender in the division, with Rakhmonov standing undefeated. “Remember the Name” is eager to hand Rakhmonov his first loss and establish dominance in the welterweight class. Should he emerge victorious, a rematch with former champion Kamaru Usman could be on the horizon—though Usman has struggled recently, losing all three of his last fights, including two against the same fighter who Belal defeated to claim the title at UFC 304.
As the welterweight division heats up, all eyes will be on Belal Muhammad as he seeks to solidify his reign as champion and silence his critics once and for all.
