The Los Angeles Chargers have released their list of inactive players ahead of their Wild Card playoff game against the Houston Texans on Saturday.
There are no huge surprises, though the team has chosen to make rookie running back Kimani Vidal a healthy scratch. J.K. Dobbins, who took a questionable tag into the game, will play and Jim Harbaugh has decided on Gus Edwards and Hassan Haskins to back him up.
The Chargers have been easing Vidal into the offense more since October. He has 155 yards rushing on the season to go with five catches for 62 yards and a touchdown. In this game, Harbaugh seems to be favoring experience.
As most expected, Joshua Palmer will be out of action due to a foot injury, meaning someone like D.J. Chark or Derius Davis will need to make some plays in the passing game.
Perhaps the biggest name on the list is Trey Pipkins. He will be unable to go due to an oblique injury which clears the way for Jamaree Salyer to get the start at guard. The list that was released also confirms that Simi Fehoko and Eli Apple, recently activated from injured reserve and Eddie Jackson, elevated from the practice squad, will play in the game.
Jaret Patterson was also elevated from the practice squad but he will be inactive.
