New York City received some light snow just in time for a white Christmas Eve.

On Tuesday morning the NYC area got about two to three hours of snowfall that wrapped up by 11 a.m., CBS New York reported. Total snowfall is light, with a coating to an inch for most.

Despite the snowfall New Yorkers might not get a “White Christmas,” which is defined as having an inch or more of snow on the ground on Christmas morning. The last time NYC saw a White Christmas was in 2009. Historically, there is only an 11% chance of a White Christmas in the city, according to CBS New York.
