Tyson Fury is set to face Oleksandr Usyk in a much-anticipated heavyweight rematch this weekend.
He recently claimed that he hasn’t spoken to his wife, Paris, for three months as he focused on his preparations for Usyk. His wife has been his biggest supporter and will undoubtedly be cheering him on from the sidelines when he goes in search of redemption on Saturday.
The pair first clashed at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia back in May, where Fury risked his WBC belt in an attempt to snatch Usyk’s WBA (Super), WBO, IBF and IBO titles. However, it was the 37-year-old Ukrainian who emerged victorious that night, outperforming Fury over 12 rounds and winning by a split decision.
As they prepare to square off again at the same venue on Saturday, Fury will be seeking revenge, drawing on the support of his coaching team, close friends and family to overpower 22-0 Usyk and regain some of the division’s belts. John Fury, Tyson’s father, has been instrumental in the ‘Gypsy King’s’ triumphs over the years, but his wife, Paris, has also been a rock through both highs and lows.

It’s certain that the 35-year-old will be at ringside on Saturday, cheering her husband on alongside the rest of the Fury family. But what does Tyson’s relationship with his wife of 16 years look like, and how many children do they have together?
A marriage of 16 years
Tyson and his wife Paris first crossed paths as teenagers at a friend’s wedding and began their romance soon after Paris turned 16. After a ten-year courtship, they celebrated their love with a stunning wedding in Doncaster in November 2008, surrounded by more than 300 guests.
True to traveler customs, Tyson upheld the pre-marital tradition of not sharing a bed with Paris, opting to sleep in a caravan outside her parents’ home while engaged. Paris has spoken about the unique arrangement, explaining: “We didn’t sleep together until after we got married.

“That is the travelers’ way. Even after we got engaged, Tyson would sleep in a caravan at my parents’ home while I slept inside the house.” Fast forward to 2024, and the couple are still going strong, now living in a picture-perfect mansion in Morecambe with their children.
Seven children together
The Furies are raising seven children. Their family began to grow with the birth of Venezuela Lynda in September 2009, followed by Prince John James in April 2012 and Prince Tyson II’s arrival in July 2016. Valencia Amber graced the family in December 2017, and Prince Adonis Amaziah made his entrance in February 2019.
Tyson and Paris welcomed a third daughter, Athena, in August 2021, followed by their latest joy, Prince Rico Paris, born in September last year. With 14 years between their first child and their most recent, the Fury household has quite an age range.

Despite this, Paris has hinted they might even go for baby number eight. The mother-of-seven told ‘Loose Women’ after welcoming Prince Rico Paris: “We’re on the fence whether this is going be the last one. Every time I have a baby, I say no more. Then they go off to school, and I get this little inkling. But seven is a lot, I’m not going to lie. It’s very busy in my house.”
A devastating miscarriage
Earlier this year, Tyson and Paris were expecting their eighth child but faced profound sadness as Paris endured a miscarriage ahead of her husband’s first bout with Usyk. Paris received news of the tragedy during a routine gender scan as she was told that her baby had no heartbeat.
She kept the devastating news private from Tyson amid preparations for his career’s most significant title fight. She explained earlier this year: “I had to make the decision, do I tell him? And I came to the conclusion that whatever was happening with me, I couldn’t change it. But I could change dramatically what was happening in his life.”
She continued: “I made up a lie that I had high blood pressure. It was the only thing I could think of that would stop me from flying without having to give him the terrible news. I was alone at the time. Tyson was in Saudi Arabia getting ready for his fight in the training camp, I’d had my 12-week scan, and everything was well, so I’d just popped in for a gender scan.

“Obviously having had multiple pregnancies, I just got a friend to watch the kids and I thought I’d come down and find out what it is, and then I could tell Tyson when I went over to join him in Saudi.” But her plans were shattered during the scan.
Reflecting on the moment, she said: “The sonographer said to me, ‘I’m really sorry, Paris, there’s no heartbeat’. I jumped up, started to cry, and said, ‘No, hold on, hold on. No, no, wait’ and went all frantic.” Paris also shared that this wasn’t her first miscarriage, explaining: “I’ve had three miscarriages. I lost one in the first trimester and two in the second trimester, two that I’ve had to deliver. We’ve buried two baby boys.”
Paris chose not to tell Tyson the horrific news while he was abroad, opting to wait until he returned from his bout in Riyadh to inform him of what had happened. Despite her silence, Tyson sensed something was amiss when she mentioned she wouldn’t make it to Saudi Arabia for his May fight.
Tyson had shared earlier: “When she said she couldn’t come over, I knew there was a problem. She never told me she had lost the baby, but I knew.”
